Book a dream session with one of our qualified Dream Therapists.

Are you experiencing nightmares, recurring or PTSD dreams? Or simply want to explore your dreams for deeper insight and awareness?

Our qualified dream therapists can help with the following options for dreamwork:

Dream Therapy

Embodied Imagination therapy is a highly specialised form of dream therapy whereby the dreamer guided by therapist explores specific dream phenomena within the dream (e.g. human, animal, other living and non-living forms) via embodiment with the aim of experiencing the perspective of the other.

By transiting into, embodying and merging with this other state, we receive the gift of their presence. This gift can assist us for a period of time and purpose before it morphs and evolves into a new dream or it can be something deeply profound that shifts how we perceive something indefinitely.

The process entails removing the self from habitual consciousness and everyday self constructs (gender, socioeconomic status, education etc) and allowing for deep and spontaneous insight via mimesis or mimicking these dream phenomena. The process relies on and reveals the dreamer’s intuitive and bodily intelligence in order to gain gnosis – a deep inner knowing or moment of enlightenment.

The method expands both awareness and psychological flexibility, develops new neural pathways and allows for something new and profoundly transforming to unfold.

By holding these multi-dimensional dream states, transformation can occur via an emergent phenomenon – a specific sensation or ‘breakthrough’ that can facilitate growth and healing.

Dream Incubation

Dream incubation involves client and therapist exploring the feeling-tone of a core issue to create a composite in preparation for intentional dreaming. This may be a relationship or professional problem, health issue, creative block or emotional issue.

Client focuses on the feeling-tone and composite prior to sleep with the intention of eliciting an oracular dream that contains a solution, guidance, new information or intelligence regarding said issue.

The process uses a modern version of the Asclepian incubation practices, that were once part of that ancient tradition of healing.

Brief and In Depth

Brief and In-Depth is both a new approach and innovative method to short-term therapy. For a series of 8 to 10 weekly sessions therapist and client meet to work on a particular core issue via dreamwork. This may be a relationship or professional problem, health issue, creative block or emotional issue.

The method privileges dreams and focuses on unconscious and intuitive processes, rather than a cognitive approach. The process uses a modern version of the Asclepian incubation practices, that were once part of that ancient tradition of healing. Brief and In-Depth initiates and builds off an ongoing series of dream incubation experiences over each session.
