Hide And Seek

I am hiding in an empty henhouse at my old family home. The henhouse is located at the front of the house in front of the loungeroom. It doesn't look like there have been chickens living in there for a long time. It is quite clean, but rundown. I am playing hide 'n' seek. Not sure who I am hiding from. I am an adult, but I feel like a child inside. Next to the henhouse and extending to the far side of the property, is a large vegetable garden. In the distance I can see someone working in the garden, but I cannot even tell what sex they are. I can see a dog, a staffy, sniffing around the garden. Without revealing myself to the outside world, I manage to attract the dog's attention, and it comes over to me in the henhouse. I encourage to come inside the henhouse. It is very happy to see me, and I pat the dog. The end.

Dream notes and associations
Nothing like the front of the house were I grew up. Where the henhouse was, was a large flower garden. Next to the garden was a path that led from the front door to the street. Between the path and the driveway was a largish lawn. On the other side of the driveway was a serious vegetable garden. My parents were very keen gardeners.
There were 2 henhouses in the backyard. And more vegetable gardens.

Hi Lindsay, yes I remember years ago we explored a dream with hens/chickens and hen houses. I am sensing you’re in a safe and comforting space in this dream. Interesting to note that your’e an adult here but feel like a child inside.
