Lost and Bewildered

Dream

I am standing in the back garden of the old family home. I am surrounded by mum's hens. The hens are doing what hens normally do. There are also dozens of my dreams swarming around my head, like buzzing bees, and I am feeling lost and bewildered. Penny arrives and she snaps her fingers twice, claps her hands twice and the hens head off into the hen house to bed. And I say: "Oh, is that how you do it". The End.

Dream notes and associations

I was sitting on the sofa watching your latest video blog and when it finished, I dozed off and had the above dream. (It was late at night). My first thought after watching the video was that I hadn't experienced sleep paralysis. Thinking about it this morning I realized that I had experienced these 3 or 4 times, a long time ago. When I woke up after dream and remembered the dream, I didn't even think about making a connection to your blog, but I thought this is how I feel at the moment. I seem to have so many dreams that I cannot have them all analyzed. I think I would have to go into permanent analysis to get through them all.

My feelings throughout the dream and on awakening

Hi Lindsay, what a scene – it’s as if the hens are a visual representation or embodiment of the dreams swarming around in your head. Interesting they were your mum’s hens and Penny could put them to bed!
