I am struggling writing my novel "The Nudist and the Hippopotamus". I am trying to find the right voice to write the novel. I decide to try a comic voice. The story now flows. In the story I describe how my character is walking through the small sub-tropical rain forest which is in our backyard. I pick up a female brush turkey and have sex with it. The End.

I am trying to write a novel called "The Nudist and the Hippopotamus". I haven't done much with it since returning to work from my holidays. Haven't thought about writing it as a comic piece. We do have a sub-tropical rain forest in our backyard, it is Penny's pet project. And brush turkeys are the bain of our lives as they think it is a great area to build their nesting mound, using the mulch that we need to protect the plants that are planted there.

Very comical. Even having sex with the brush turkey felt comical rather than erotic.
Hi Lindsay, how interesting your novel flowed in a comic voice. Would you consider experimenting with it as a comical piece?
I hadn’t thought about it before but I think I could do it. I will give it a go.
