The empty street

Dream

I am walking down Hayes Street Neutral Bay. It is completely empty. There are old Victorian buildings, boarding houses and shops etc, on both sides of the street. Hayes Street ferry wharf is located at the end of the street. It is a sunny morning but it is cold. I am feeling very sexually aroused.

Dream notes and associations

This was a daydream. I had woken up and I was checking my emails, when I went back to sleep and I had this dream. I lived in Hayes Street in the late 70s. It was while I was living there that I had the encounter with the ex-catholic priest.
In the dream , I was living in the White House, an old white boarding house near there. My aunt had lived in that building in the 50s before she died.
On Wednesday I had my session with Lara, which was very unsettling. The night before, after I went to bed, I was thinking about the session and all these memories arose, that I had been dealing with. Lara and I examined my anxiety which brought up more stuff, guilt and the letting go of guilt. The process continues
The only 'negative' aspect of this dream is the cold. It is very wintery here. On the whole I think this is a positive dream.

My feelings throughout the dream and on awakening

Erotic, cold

Hi Lindsay, yes, I believe it is the sunny aspect of the dream that makes it seem so positive. As if there is an optimistic outlook to the situation.
