The Immigrants
Dream
I am in East Timor, and I have sponsored 10 Asians, male and female, to come to Australia. Some are not sure about it, even though their current situation wasn't that good or secure. When I get back to Australia, I find that some have accompanied me, and some haven't.
Dream notes and associations
The East Timorese paid a heavy price during the Second World War protecting a relatively small number of Australian troops from the Japanese. Consequently, in my generation, the East Timorese loom large in our psyche. Apart from that I am at a loss with this one. The immigrants weren't necessarily East Timorese, some of them looked Indian.

My feelings throughout the dream and on awakening
Uncertainty of the future, perhaps.
Hi Lindsay, there’s a strong theme of generosity and/or charity in this dream. Interesting to note it is embraced by some while others are uncertain of leaving their situation.
