I discover an ex-girlfriend living at a motel. I decide to, after she has gone to bed, to enter her room and spend the night with her in her bed. I awake before she does and I leave before she awakes. I keep doing this every night, her cat is with her, and the cat is always pleased to see me. One morning the inevitable happens and she awakes before me and is surprised to see me in her bed. I tell her that I have been sleeping with her for the past 6 months.

Where on Earth did this weird, whacky dream come from? Don't recognize the girlfriend from real life. She was white, Anglo Saxon, Protestant. We were both in our 40s. There was a sense of I can do this so why not? It seemed to be a fun thing to do. The motel room was contemporary. very stylish. Why a motel room?
Reminded me of my night visit dream and a dream I presented to you, a long time ago where I visited a dog in a remote farmhouse without the owners knowing of my visit. The motel was set in the countryside.
