I have in my possession a very old and rare and valuable book. A man lures me to some isolated place in the bush. He promises to give me a blow job. We are in the bush; we are out in the open, and he has sex with me and leaves taking the book with him.

I have had other dreams where I am lured somewhere with the promise of sex. The old rare book is interesting. What does that symbolize? The Man was a young man. He was very tall. I was a similar age.

My feelings throughout the dream and on awakening

erotic, vulnerable, abandoned, isolated.

Hi Lindsay, old books tend to symbolise learned and inherited wisdom. Is someone taking something you consider valuable and luring you under false pretences?

I was also wondering if the book had something to do with the loss of virginity, or loss of innocence, given that I am a young man in the dream. As a teenager I was taught that my virginity was valuable and was to be saved for marriage. Just a thought.
Last night I dreamt I was in the same isolated location being staked by a mountain lion. Last night we watched an episode of a tv series where the matriarch and her daughter-in-law were snowed in their home, which was very isolated. A mountain lion sought shelter on their front verandah.
I have had a few dreams about holidays and cars, but I can’t remember specifics.

That sounds like a viable connection with the rare and valuable book and your loss of virginity. I have heard that mountain lions are auspicious and lions in general are positive symbols of strength, success and self-assertion.
